Negative World Podcast 074 - Charity Smash

Welcome to the Negative World Podcast! While recording this episode, we had so much content to discuss that the recording went over four hours pre-edit. Then there was an hour-long special segment recorded a few days later... thus this episode was split into Episode 74 and Episode 75. Please enjoy Episode 74: Charity Smash; featuring Andrew (Zero), Joe (Ninsage) and Stephen (DrFinkelstein).

It's named as such because Joe has a very special announcement to make in the form of an upcoming Super Smash Bros. Charity Event he's hosting in partnership with the Child's Play Charity. Please head over to the SJFC Smash Bros. Tournament page where you'll find information about the tournament, a link to donate to, and the link to watch it live. Every little bit helps so please donate to the cause.
The tournament will happen on April 18th; 1 PM EST.

Elsewhere in the episode the gang discusses what they've been playing. Andrew brings up Dark Souls and Teslagrad. Joe updates us on Hyrule Warriors and tips us in to a very unique game called The Dream Machine. Stephen has been tackling BOXBOY! recently and some of the 3DS remake for The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.

After the break the trio gets right into it with a discussion related to April 1st's Nintendo Direct. The portions found in this episode focus heavily on Super Smash Bros. and Mario Kart 8 as they discuss the DLC packs announced, what it means for the future, and finally Joe and Stephen have that 'in-depth' DLC discussion they've been wanting to have for many episodes now. Surely this isn't over.

In light of timing, the episode already clocked in at over two hours so the remainder of the Nintendo Direct discussion will take place in an upcoming Episode 75. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the show! Music in this episode is from the The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D for the 3DS. Zero's theme music completes the show.
