Happy New Year's Eve! It's been over a month since the last podcast despite we recorded this in early December. Between a very busy week immediately after recording and then the holidays, I apologize but I hope this episode finds you well. Today is the last day of 2013 and I made a promise to you and the myself that this would release before the year's end.

DrFinkelstein and Ninsage are joined by an old friend, Roykoopa64, the Koopa with the pink sunglasses.

Negative World Podcast 056 - Pokemon N&W

The Negative World crew goes Poke-crazy in this Pokemon-centric episode. Clocking in at over two and a half hours, there's enough podcast to fill a Snorlax's belly!

DrFinkelstein and Ninsage invite two of Negative World's finest, Super_Conzo and Deathly_Hallows.

The thing is, they're both new to the Pokemon series with Pokemon X&Y. At first we get a glimpse into what their current Pokemon rosters look like. Considering everybody starts off in the same place, there is surprising diversity between everyone. Then the gang dives into the nitty gritty of Pokemon and specifically Pokemon X&Y. From the graphics to the Pokemon typing, and even an interesting look at the true potential of the Mega Evolution concept, this podcast has something for everyone.

Alas our big fiftieth episode! I know it has been a while since our last podcasts from E3 and I, DrFinkelstein, apologizes. We recorded this right at the end of June but personal and professional business has caused various delays. Still, I'm not in the business of excuses so lets just move forth and enjoy the show!

Episode 50 brings DrFinkelstein and Ninsage discussing gaming apparel, some great games being played, and then ending the first act with a fun Box Art Guessing Game! We apologize for the distinct tardiness of this episode. Various brand new technical difficulties made this episode tricky. In fact, until the eleventh hour we didn't think the La Mulana discussion would be able to be in. Alas though it was and hence the episode is named in honor. This episode finds Zero guesting and discussing some Mario and a unique Playstation game that looks more like it should be on a Nintendo console. NinSage describes his struggles through La Mulana and other games he's actually enjoying. Negative World Euphonic 001 - Mario and Water

Wait a second! This isn't the Negative World Podcast! What is this Euphonic thing?

Well, glad you asked disembodied question-asker!

Welcome to the Negative World Euphonic podcast! These will not necessarily be a consistent ever X-weeks kind of thing, but from time to time Joe (Ninsage) and I (DrFinkelstein) will be recording episodes of the show where YOU negative-worlders get to help celebrate Video Game Music!

Each episode we will have a thread prior where it will be up to you to help us think of some of the best video game songs based on certain themes. The only restriction is that the song must have been featured in a game that was on a Nintendo console at some point (this does include Virtual Console).

Once that's all sorted, a new episode will be recorded where we feature three songs per theme while Joe and I will bring some others into the mix to surprise you.
